Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Quill Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 126 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in survey data and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on ridership counts. • Python or R for analysis.
