Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Basin Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on usage data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
