Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Hartford, CT)

Lumen Meadow Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on catastrophe response. • Python or R for analysis.
