Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bluepeak Rook Housing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for waiting lists, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 102 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in waiting lists and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
