Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Fresno, CA)

Summit Cobalt Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in vehicle inspections and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. • Python or R for analysis.
