Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Fresno, CA)

Clearpath Orchard Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Fresno. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in meter readings and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
