Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Fresno, CA)

Clearpath Rowan Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Fresno. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in budget submissions and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on constituent requests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
