Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Fort Worth, TX)

Bright Iron Markets serves neighbourhoods around Fort Worth with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
