Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (El Paso, TX)

Fernwood Granite Property Management Group is a El Paso property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in maintenance requests and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on unit turnovers. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
