Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Detroit, MI)

Bluepeak Quarry Farms is an agricultural business based around Detroit, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 891 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in packing house output and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on harvest schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
