Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark Glen Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Detroit with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on recycling loads. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
