Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Fern Freight is a Des Moines logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 638 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in proof of delivery and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
