Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Beacon Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Des Moines. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in maintenance stores and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on waiting lists. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
