Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Meridian Foods and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in allergen controls and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on ingredient orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
