Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Highbridge Fern Arts Center is an arts centre in Des Moines with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on exhibitions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
