Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Hollow Freight and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
