Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Ironwood Community Partners Group runs community programmes across Des Moines, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in client intake and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
