Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Dallas, TX)

Westbrook Junction Housing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for rent assistance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Investigate trends in rent assistance and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on waiting lists. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
