Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Dallas, TX)

Stonegate Rook Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Dallas and nearby communities, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
