Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Fox Construction Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
