Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Redstone Iron Construction Associates and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on project schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
