Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Columbus, OH)

Harborlight Cedar Arts Center is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in ticketing and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on volunteer programmes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
