Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Columbus, OH)

Cedar Juniper Inspection Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
