Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Columbus, OH)

Harborlight Cedar Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Columbus. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on visitor services. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
