Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Colorado Springs, CO)

Nova Vista Financial Group serves customers across Colorado Springs with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in customer onboarding and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on vendor spend. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
