Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Colorado Springs, CO)

Amberfield Fox Insurance is an insurance company in Colorado Springs with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
