Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Cleveland, OH)

Harborlight Sparrow Hospitality is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for guest bookings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in guest bookings and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
