Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Cincinnati, OH)

Harborlight Ember Property Management is a Cincinnati property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in lease renewals and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on resident events. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
