Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Cincinnati, OH)

Amberfield Corner Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Cincinnati with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
