Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Cincinnati, OH)

Summit Loom Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
