Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Cincinnati, OH)

Amberfield Ember Markets is a Cincinnati retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
