Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Cincinnati, OH)

Amberfield Mill Energy Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter readings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
