Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Bright Rowan Banking Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in deposit accounts and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
