Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Chicago, IL)

Rivermark Glen Legal Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for trust accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in trust accounts and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
