Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Chicago, IL)

Bright Quill Foods is a Chicago food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on allergen controls. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
