Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Chicago, IL)

Harborlight Forge Energy Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 852 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on usage data. • Python or R for analysis.
