Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charlotte, NC)

Fernwood Forge Freight is a Charlotte logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in proof of delivery and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
