Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Glen Civic Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Investigate trends in constituent requests and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on budget submissions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
