Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charlotte, NC)

Summit Ember Water Authority Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on treatment plant data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
