Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Vale Water Authority and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in water quality and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
