Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charlotte, NC)

Amberfield Ashton Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Charlotte, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in client sites and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on test reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
