Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charlotte, NC)

Westbrook Fern Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Charlotte focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 718 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in service installations and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer tickets. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
