Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Cedar Vista Financial Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Investigate trends in loan applications and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
