Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Charleston area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
