Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield Bright Early Learning runs childcare centres in Buffalo caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on enrolment. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
