Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Buffalo, NY)

Highbridge Pine Construction is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in subcontractor invoices and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on permits. • Python or R for analysis.
