Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield Pike Property Management Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for resident events, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in resident events and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on lease renewals. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
