Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Granite Property Management and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Maintenance and leasing staff share information every day. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in resident events and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vendor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
