Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Boston, MA)

Harborlight Clear Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Boston region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 824 people based in Boston. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on outage response. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
