Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Boston, MA)

Ironwood Wren Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Boston serving households and small businesses, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on account openings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
